Helping to keep the Nailsea and District Community Transport Bus out and about!
Written 07/11/19 – locals donate their pink token to keep familiar bus on the roads
This week, Chris Pilgrim, Assistant Manager at Tout’s Budgens Nailsea presented Nailsea and District Community Transport with a donation cheque as a result of participating in our Love Local Pink Token campaign.
Nailsea and District Community Transport provides a vital door to door, transport service for older and disabled people in the local area. Fundraising through Tout’s Budgens Love Local Pink Token scheme, Nailsea and District Community Transport will help the charity reach out and help more and more people who need this service. All of the Nailsea and District Community Transport minibuses have been converted to ensure everyone can get on board and enjoy day trips, shopping trips or even just get to medical appointments.
We would like to thank our customers who placed their pink Love Local token into the Nailsea and District Community Transport box, with this support we were able to make a donation of £152.80.
About Love Local
Throughout the year through our bright pink Lovel Local token scheme we give back to the organisations that are within our community. We believe it’s important we support the right people, so what better way to do this than allow our customers to choose the charities they wish to support.
